I want to work on deep learning algorithms. But, I do not know how should I select a good technique in deep learning algorithms. Actually, I do not have a good view towards the subject. Could you describe the issue, please? How can select the best technique based on dataset?

Hi,
To be very general i would say that deep learning is a modern pseudo name for stacked generalization , where one stacks k>2 tiers. In "deepnets" these tiers, or layers, would be a mix of some form of artificial neural networks.

maybe you can start with the simplest kind of "deep" machines : the so-called "extreme" learning machines (in its simplest form, this is just another name for random projections in a neural network set-up)
