I am a researcher in Remote Sensing and working on Smart Agriculture. I want to know what is Climate Resilient Agriculture and how Remote Sensing & GIS can be implemented to achieve this.
REMOTE SENSING AND GIS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED SIGNIFICANTLY IN AGRICULTURE RESILIENCE.
1. IDENTIFY THE PARAMETERS WHICH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AGRICULTURE CULTIVATION, PROBLEM/LIMITATION AND FOR AGRICULTURE RESILIENCE.
2. THE PARAMETERS YOU CAN MAP SPATIALLY (LULC, SOIL FERTILITY, AGRICULTURE EXTENT, TREE COVER PERCENT,DROUGHT EXTENT, AGRICULTURE VULNERABILITY, SOCIO ECONOMIC SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION PATTTERN, TEMPERATURE AND RAINFALL DISTRIBUTION PATTERN AND ITS ANOMALIES)
3. TRY TO CORELATE THESE PARAMETERS TO MAKE THE AREA RESILIENCE FOR AGRICULTURE.
4. GEOSPATIAL TECHNOLOGY HAS ADEQUATE CAPACITY TO ANALYZE THE RASTER/ VECTOR DATASETS AND EXAMINE THE HIDDEN SPATIAL RELATIONSHIP IN GIS DOMAIN WHICH PROVIDES BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUBJECT AND HELP SIGNIFICANTLY IN POLICY PLANNING AND MAKING THE SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES FOR AGRICULTURE RESILIENCE.
