Do you believe chemistry is independent science? or believe it as a body of unknown facts which just need some time to let physics discover new models!?
: 0 :) :0 :) It is need deep understand in basics of all unique in science. Science doesn’t give any special preference to math’s, physics and chemistry. Its all inter relation with one another and preferable once we can’t be developed modern science. Some basic examples, Physics made calculations of atoms and their electrons orbits with centrifugal force of attractions with aid of mathematical calculations that we used in periodic elements of chemical composition used for designing advance technology. Newton made many of mathematics to simplified truth of natural physics we oblige agree, but chemistry is also need for living things from basic origin of your DNAs cell. Imagine suppose we had fever algebra and computational will not recommend we need a drug synthesis for remedy, let come for a scientific doubts/ arguments not for priority :)....

As Haran said, it needs in a way, this is a question hard to answer. There no single answer, but from my point of view, and putting it in a single sentence: Chemistry is the central science of all applied disciplines. Its borders are not clear, but difuse and goes into biology, physics, material science, medicine, etc..... In summary, I would say that chemistry is the science of everything!
Briefly, Chemistry is like CNS linked to every part of science from basic to advance level beyond the reach of technology. Its either biology or any disciple of science its the only platform to link all the system.
I myself believe that: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God", therefor it was far from us, so we call it "Chemistry", but after that "the Word was God", therefor it was close to us, so we call it "Other sciences", Biology, Physics, ... (i.e. As I call it any well-defined mathematically modeled science)... (Cheers to Luiz Claudio Barboas, Hari Haran, Satya Chilla, and others... Yours Sincerely, Omid Ghayour)
Chemistry is found in all other sciences. It's the inter-connector and indispensibly used to unravel nature and it's complexicities. Most naturally phenomena ranging from life processes to the evolution of the Universe are only fully explained by chemical principles. Maths, Physics or Biology are actually either tools used in Chemistry or applications of Chemistry. Well, like a Lion being the King of the jungle, Chemistry is the King of Science- the intersection of all Science disciplines and by that virtue-the core Science.
