What is Carpooling or Car sharing and how much Research have been done in this Project? Is it is beneficial for Transportation system?
Are these are the Problem which can be solved by Carpooling?

Staying issues during travelling through public travel
Wastage of Time due to waiting at bus stops
Environment pollution (air pollution, noise pollution, carbon emission, greenhouse gas emission)
Road Congestion (High Traffic and Rush at peak Hours.
Road Damages due to more usages of roads
Road Maintenances Issues
I would say that the first thing that should be in place is public transportation. We cannot afford - for our environment's sake - to drive a car everywhere, even if we car-pool.
I think yes. More people/less cars => less pollution, lower fuel consumption etc.
