It depends on the kind of deviation you are referring to. Is it from Raoult's law or Dalton's Law? Because the binary interaction parameters will depend and change accordingly on that (either liquids or as gas/vapor) in terms of calibrating the extent of non-ideality of the mixture you referred to, in addition to the reaction environment itself.
