is it good idea to apply the bacterial inoculants N fixing bacteria, P sol. Bacteria and K sol. Bacteria in the same time to help plants to get more of the primary nutrients? or better to apply them singularly depending on growth stage and nutrient need of the plant?
This is always necessary to enrich our soil with biological inputs. In concern of microorganisms it is always better to select the microorganisms which has multiple traits of Plant growth promotion. Due to these features they can be able to show immunity against indigenous microflora and exist itself in a stable way inside the soils. However, in concern to mix culture or consortium of bacteria is another important strategy but depends up on the compatibility of these cultures to each other. If they have a good bio compatibility, they can exit themselves strongly in comparison to single one. Even, it is also reported for consortium they showed enhanced plant growth promotory traits and better plant growth and development. It is well known truth that "Unity has Strength". But, if you are concerned with a particular nutrient you can select the bioinoculant as per the need of soil nutrition.
Combined application of enriched organic fertiliser as vermicompost along with bio-fertiliser like Rhizobia, Azotobacter etc. as nitrogen fixing bacterial fertiliser may be better effective for crop production in agriculture.
Organic farming, organic nitrogen fixation by legumesa along with biofettilizer followed with combination of organic and synthetic inorganic fertilizer may be popularised for sustainable soil fertility and productivity and to provide healthy and nutritious food for living beings in the planet earth.
