Fikrineh Negash Dear Fikrineh, It is a really good document, concise and presenting the main issues. My view, however, is that the theoretical framework may evolve and we need to take immediate action now to mitigate many of the effects that could harm mankind. Water scarcity and a decrease in agricultural production can take place at an unexpected rate and measures have to be adopted in anticipation.
Every One must realize the cause of the much discussed issue of climate change and it's causes and impacts on agriculture and food security have been brought out by various researchers and Institutes. One such documents have been uploaded abive be @Negash. We need to do all the resilent practices for revesing the impact of climate change on crops which may vary country to country.
The theoretical frameworks can be variable, but in my opinion will always be focused on analyzing the impact of climate change (rains, temperature changes, droughts, extreme events, etc.) on food systems (considering the stages of production, processing, distribution, preparation and consumption) on food security (availability, access and use) and in turn on human health (nutrition). Water plays a vital role in food production, and in sustaining the ecosystems that support agriculture and other economic activities that are critical for achieving food security.

I agree with Gonzalo Galileo Rivas Platero on the elements that we have to analyze to determine a theoretical framework in the current situation of climate change and also under the global effects on COVID-19, which are harming the agricultural supply chain very intensely. And we have to give special consideration to innovation and the degree of access that farmers have to innovative inputs and customized counseling of their production possibilities.
