Dear Karun, tourism is becoming very strong in cultural locales that have specially authentic places, customs, objects and landscape. There is a growing trend in heritage tourism, small lodgings, rural environment and local cuisine. There is a steady downward trend in the preference for high-cost hotel resorts in an urban environment or in rural areas where local people are separated from the tourists. Two publishing houses in England have devoted a lot of material to this kind of "authentic" tourism: Ashgate and Rutledge. I recommend that you go into their web pages to browse what they have. I have seen many recent books that deal with exactly what you want. I will look into my bibliographies. Last year I taught a graduate course on heritage tourism and there is a lot going on with that.

for the development of niche tourism dont think about advanced infrastructural development use traditional infrastructure which is available mostly use local people houses for accommodation and even prefer local food prepare by local people there should be pure traditional cultural envrionment which u can use here in India one family from Kokan Maharashtra started one concept house of maternal grandparents for the kids living in cities. they called kids from metropolitan cities to join this project they will live with that family they will not get to enjoy tv and other electronic media instead of that they will get to know about local culture and songs prayers etc, tradtions and even about agricutlural system jungle trail etc it became more popular
