I am comparring computer-based lab curriculum to a traditional-based with same labs. I am in need of validated instrument(s) to measure domains of learning described in a learner-centered framework. The domains are: Metacognitive & cognitive; Affective & motivational; Developmental & social; Individual-difference factors.
Take a look at MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire) or LASSI (Learning and Study Strategies Questionnaire).
You might want to look at the mutitrait-multimethod model designed by Crook and Campbell. The article, The Use of Course Grades in the Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes for General Education by Merle L. Canfield, et al. (2015) (DOI: 10.1177/2158244015615921), really sheds light on looking at relationships and their measurements in student outcomes. In the least, it will give you a jumping off point.

Many tests are available for each of the competencies mentioned. E.g. with regard to Metacognition, many tests measure domain-specific (reading; mathematics, etc.) metacognitive skills & knowledge.
