The different species of carbon may have different results. In a general way, the plateau will be well obvious (0-1V) if the carbon have a good crystalline. Of cause, slow down the charge/discharge current density will also help you to observe your plateau. Additionally, the plateau will also can not be well obseaved if you don't assemble your cell well.
