Currently I am reading a book " Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramhans Yoganand. I choose to read this book as I came to know that this book had a profound influence on Steve Jobs and he read this book at least once every year. This book has raised many questions in my mind. Some of you might have read this book and even if not, I am curious to know your opinions.
I have watched a few programmes on Discovery about Ghosts, spirits etc. But I am not very convinced about their existence.
Death: is outage of the human world, and turnout on the other life.
Human is buried after death;his body will dissolves and disappears with the earth. While the spirit will ascend to heaven, the person will accountable by the Lord for what he has done, good or bad. If his worked better will live in a happy life, while his works evil will live in torment and pain.
What happens after death?

Although we haven't experienced it yet as we are alive, however, there are some books that may help you especially the holy books like Quran. It's translation is available in many languages, so pick one that is in your own local language.

Thank you everyone for sharing your views....I appreciate if you all could throw light on existence of spirits/ghosts etc? I have heard a lot and also watched a lot through various sources....
That is the great unanswered question. And nothing your read about it is going to be anything more than speculation! Even near-death experiences don't really apply, as one cannot tell precisely when the "dreams" occurred, or why.

depends upon what we have been doing in life while waiting for death.
@ Prof. Albert, yes, researches on existence of Ghosts/spirits are rare and most of the stuff you find is speculation or experiences of some other individual. There are a lot of places in the world which are known as 'haunted' and I am curious why no one really set an empirical research study at these so called haunted places.
@Mattiullah Attari Butt, Thank you for your expression. I think these are general statements which are prevalent in all religions. What I am looking for is something which is rational and logical rather than speculation.
