I'm conducting an EEG experiment to understand what regions of the brain are activated when a subject identifies a particular object within a much larger image (say somewhat like Where's Waldo?). The paper I am following says it found key results after analysing the medial frontal and medial temporal lobe.
I am using an Enobio with 8 channels for the experiment. As I haven't got enough channels to accurately localise activity, I'd really like some inputs as to what electrode positions are best to use according to the 10/20 system to map electrical activity in these brain regions.

It's going to be challenging for a few reasons: 1) the anatomy of the brain regions that you are interested in, particularly the medial temporal lobe, could be considered inaccessible with scalp EEG; 2) your limited number of electrodes and limited montage size; 3) the basic Enobio cap is missing some positions (FT electrodes) that could be useful (although the pro version has them).
That said, a montage covering AFz, Fz, F3, F4, FT7, FT8, T7 ,and T8 could work okay for what you want.
You are going to be able to image the MFL far better than the MTL.
