What does PREDATORY CONFERENCE mean ?!!

sometimes we hear about articles predatory and sometimes conferances predatory how we can detect them and how we can avoid them ??!!!

thank you Mr Darek Pyne ... but if we participate on such conferances it will decrease the quality of our researchs or it has no effect on that ??!! and how we can distinguish from prdator than normal conferance !!!
