Should 'learning' be followed by a feedback? Can a task without any feedback be called a 'learning' task?
For example, in a task, there is 24 (4*6) trials. We can get the performance for each 4-trial block, obtaining a "learning curve". I think though there is no feedback, subjects could increase their performance after several trails.

Hi, Of course learning would happen without presence of FB (when FB represents instructions about performance). I suggest you to read about explicit and implicit learning. Please find the attached file. It's useful for this case.

As I understand, even without feedback, there may be learning effects. But there are some differences with those with feedback. 1. in the case, learning with feedback would be more efficient. 2. it is hard to say what causes the learning effect in learning without feedback. that is, the specificity is hard to say.
Though I've not read it stated as follows, I define learning as the coordination of the activation of multiple regions of the brain ... which means feedback is essential to learning, in my opinion.

at least with respect to motor learning, three different learning processes can be identified: (1) error-based learning (which would represent what you refer to as feedback-dependent), (2) reinforcement learning, and (3) use-dependent learning (wich would resemble learning just by doing, without any extrinsic) feedback or reinforcement.
The following paper (which I attach to my answer) "in a nutshell" tries to explain how these learning modes work, and thus what eventually causes learning without any feedback.
