I was measuring the Tm Of DNA on addition of an organic drug but i noticed unpredictable results as on raising the temperature , i found that the absorbance started to decrease and didn't show any hyperchromic shift. Does anyone has a clear conclusion for these results ?

Absorbance decreases on raising temperature means the colored
component may be decomposing.
