Quantum Bayesianism is an emergent view on the foundations of quantum mechanics that is rather interesting (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_Bayesianism if you have not heard about it). This is especially the case as it seems (prima facie) to avoid the problems of ontology in quantum mechanics altogether. I am interested to hear people's views on this approach, especially if you know of any hidden ontic assumptions.
This is not an answer to your question, Mark, and I am not a physicist, but am strongly interested in Quantum physics, especially in Hugh Everett's interpretation (of course, after some popular adaptations were done by David Deutsch). And it's not about knowing these interpretations as a specialist, but about sensing (sorry for this subjective approach) that something seems to be true... I wanted to ask you what do you think about Everett's interpretation, what does physics community think about Everett's theory? The reason I'm asking you this question is that this is first time I communicate with a real person dealing with these problems personally. Thanks, sorry for messing with your question :). @Dauren Sarsenov: Until there is a way to distinguish between ontologies by experiment all views need to be treated as possible explanations for the theoretical framework of quantum mechanics. If the universe has an objective reality we should avoid being subjective in our approach and stay within the scientific method - with the caveat that ontology is useful in motivating new theories. Quantum Bayesianism is very different in the respect that ontology appears, to a great extent, to be unimportant.

First, the Bayesian interpretation of probability is clearly superior to the frequency interpretation, because the same rules of probability theory can be applied to much more general questions like the probability that certain theories are true given some amount of information - something completely meaningless from the point of view of frequency interpretation.
The QBism as defined by Fuchs el al. I don't like, it is one-sided, ignores reality completely. So I have my own Bayesian variant of de Broglie-Bohm theory, which combines realism about the trajectory q(t) from dBB theory with a Bayesian interpretation of the wave function.
