If the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) pandemic returns in successive years in the coming years, the digitization and internetisation of education systems and teaching activities will continue to increase, which are increasingly carried out remotely via the Internet, in the formula -learningu. Therefore, the pressure on the use of Industry 4.0 technology may increase, including machine learning technologies, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, etc. in educational activities carried out through constantly improved e-learning platforms, Internet applications enabling the implementation remote videoconferences with the simultaneous participation of many participants, pupils and students. The use of artificial intelligence may endanger the teaching position in the future. However, the teacher plays the most important role in the teaching process. Technology should support teachers, not replace them. Pupils and students need teachers who act as guides, mentors, advisors, support, authority, etc. Current technologies enable the support of the teacher's work, but do not replace the teacher with technology. The technology turned out to be very helpful in the context of continuing education processes during the current SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic, thanks to which teachers conduct teaching activities remotely, via the Internet, in the online e-learning formula. However, technology does not replace the teacher despite progressing digitization. Therefore, new technologies, including artificial intelligence, should be effectively used in education processes in such a way as to support the teacher's work and contribute to the improvement of didactic processes and their adaptation to the realities of the current fourth technological revolution. However, this should not lead to technology being replaced by the teacher.
