First of all, lets remember our childhood which was full of energy, a world that was rich in play, activity and nature.

Before the corona crisis the digital world was the only passion of our kids, now adays with this quarantine, they became more sticky with their screens, more eating, more socially isolated, Less physically active.

However, they became more aware of the importance of hyogens. They start to play some family games together so strengthening the bonds of love between the family..

Muhammed, the adverse effects of the Coronavirus health and socio-economic crisis have begun to unravel in a range of countries, both developed and developing. Some of the initial readings are not comfortable, including the adverse impacts that this pandemic has had on children's as well as adults' health, mental and psychological and financial wellbeing. I have heard the pattern seems to be that some children and families were:

first- relaxed, happy, - like a vacation

second - tensions rose due to the shelter in place, realization of financial strain or having to work from and having the family around, and lack of peer interaction

third - stress, anxiety, frustration - which can escalate to fear, anger and depression

Firstly,

The traditional settings of our communities in Developed, developing and Low income countries perceive Psycho-social oppression differently in terms of; who is oppressing who, how and why.

Therefore, it would be better to first investigate what the different societies including the children, perceive as physical or psychological challenges before making conclusions.

It depends on the youngsters developmental level. We are even more concerned about the impact of racial disparity, prejudice and discrimination of children of color. Youngsters as young as 10 are committing suicide. Clearly the atmosphere in the US is toxic for them.

In low social-economic countries the question of psychosocial challenges among children may be perceived different even to children.

however, parents do not acknowledge that children are at risk of depression or any other form of psychological challenge as a result of lockdown.

I personally believe children are even exposed to experience and see what they are not supposed to in relation to their age. for example; domestic violence, phonographic scenes from parents and or fellow siblings.

parents are more focused on survival and less attentive to the psychological challenges faced by these children. Hence the children are to face and handle issues on there own of which the methods may be a maladaptive strategy or suicide in unlikely events.

I think because of lockdown, all children are bound in their homes. This effects their physical health as they can not go outside to play and don't have enough physical activities . psychological effects may includes their lack of interaction with there friends, relatives specially children who have nuclear family system.They can not meet with their relatives like grandparents.Besides that they have uncertainty in their lives about their future.They can't make their goals with confidence that shakes their confidence as well.

Physically, the young ones do have a lot of energy within, and with the restrictions, they do not get their full potential to develop because they cannot engage in kinesthetic activities that can be attributed to their physical growth. On one hand, lack of physical activities may contribute to metabolic disorders like increased sugar level considering the ratio between what and how much they eat and their physical activities like playing outside with friends. Psychologically, they are not spared from mental health challenges that adults experience. Thus, since we differ on how we take things in life, there is a possibility that this can cause loneliness and worst, depression to few or some of our young kids.

Children are forced to stay home for 24 hours for more than 3 months. Their lifestyle has been changed a lot and they are living with Corona fear. They are just busy with games or online networks. Muhammed, I think the effects of lockdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic across the globe have been varied. Anecdotal evidence seems to be pointing to not only psychological and physical effects ranging from mental health to lack of human networking capacity but also the associated emotional, welfare and wellbeing developing potential that the pandemic has brought about on individuals and communities across the world. Greetings, As a play therapist I find much will also depend on how or if parents/caregivers have the knowledge or experience in how to best handle the unknowns. We have not gone through a global pandemic so much is new but personal experiences and/or support make a difference in how parents react to their children. Fear, anxiousness, sadness, anger, etc are all known emotions. How they are responded to in an unknown situation will determine how the strength of a child will grow. It is valuable to support parents and give them tools to be with their children while keeping themselves and others safe and healthy.
