I am looking for scientific evidence of the effectiveness of this method. You know the works that show the effects of learning and teaching on this method?
I've used Kolb's cycle in an article that argued for a developmental model for intercultural simulations. I included it based on research performed by Klinge, Rohmann, and Piontkowski (2009) which based their theoretical framework on Kolb's cycle. Here is a reference: Klinge, K., Rohmann, A., & Piontkowski, U. (2009). Intercultural sensitization with synthetic cultures: Evaluation of a computer-based multimedia learning tool. International Journal of Intercultural Relations, 33, 507-515. doi:10.1016/j.ijintrel.2009.07.001 - I've attached the article.
Interesting experiment and conclusion. Thank you for that link. I raise new ideas. I am dealing with improving the efficiency and motor skills of people. In the last year I also measure increase the level of knowledge about physical activity for health. I would like is implement the adults to self-realization methodological assumptions of such training. I think it's an interesting project and I have observed a change of consciousness. Therefore, I seek the support of this thesis from other researchers.
Returning to your experience, I wonder if similar conclusions could be expected in the older group than the 21-23 years old and non-students? Your research raises the conclusions on the selection of teaching methods in ethnically diverse groups. It gives you to think:-).
