If you'd like to store RNAs for long periods of time, it is best to create a cDNA library. RNAs are naturally labile and prone to degradation. However, if you create complementary DNA (cDNA) libraries, you're more likely to "preserve" the primary sequence, since DNA is more stable than RNA.

Thank you your advice...You are right, I have lot of cDNAs at -20 C(2 months)...But I don't know whether it degrations...

You may try doing some work with those frozen samples to see how the quality gets affected. If you find that quality of DNA (cDNA) is affected, then you may want to try re-extracting RNA again. Also, try looking up recent publications on RNA storage. Perhaps the best place to look for RNA storage techniques would be in a virology journal, since a lot of viruses are comprised of RNA. Try checking, especially, journals that do research on PLANT viruses. I hope this does help you.

Hi if you want to store RNA for few months then use RNA storage  (Ambion) or tris pH 7.4 - 8 solution. But as RNA is very less stable as compared to other cellular macro molecules like DNA or Protein its better to preserve cDNA rather RNA.
