Yesterday in Science journal the Editorial written by chief executive officer emeritus Prof Alan I. Leshner, was published. Entitled as "Target student mental well-being", Science 371 (6527), 325. DOI: 10.1126/science.abg5770 (http://science.sciencemag.org/content/371/6527/325).

The article is quite interesting, quite worrying, and also inspiring, not just for students but for all stakeholders in higher education (i.e., policy makers, financiers, managements, academics and teaching staff, students and their parents). I kindly ask you to read the article, its quite short, only one page in two columns and tell me what is the status student’s mental well-being in your university, faculty, college? Is it some kind of mental distress of students noticed in your institution? If yes, what is the rate? And; Do we really realize our mission of developing the whole student as complete person? Thank you.
