I think it would be a good thing to create a such Atlas. Moreover an anatomic web site could evolve and become more and more complete through time. However, this kind of Atlas must be very complete and accurate and may be long to build. If enough of us to be interested in such a website we could launched a project to build an anatomy web site.
I think that is a great idea. There is so much human anatomy stuff on the web, but most of it is not high quality and most is not aimed above the level of undergraduate anatomy and physiology. It would be nice if there was an associated phone/tablet app, as well.
I think, your proposition to add phone/tablet app is nice, but to buld a such web site we need to be many (computer scientist, anatomist, paleoanthropologist, etc.). It could be interesting to launch a project. What do you think ?

as well as for african mammal species (project with National Musuem of Kenya - Osteology Dpt) with almost all skeltttal parts of e.30 species (especially hrbivores, but also some primates) already 'in the box' - one of the present problem is technical...and need to be treated before to put on internet !! I hope in 2014 !! +
Your web site is wonderfull and I will create a link to it in my web database (http://anthropologicaldata.free.fr). However, I was thinking on a web site about human anatomy.
