I’m looking for water soluble polymers which will remain ( will not dissolve) at least 20 days stable at room temperature in water and I want them to be environmentally harmless as much as possible. Any suggestions please?

In what form should it be: foil, tile? How long does it last? Is it supposed to be clean water?
Foil. Water will be clean and no matter when the polymer will dissolve completely.

Dear all, some biodegradable biomedical polymers have such a feature. Search for those used as situres (internal). My Regards
Polyvinyl alcohol will not dissolve unless you heat up the solution. It is hydrophilic and reasonably harmless. Large (1000000 Da and beyond) MW PEGs might work too.
