In the most of the countries, teachers teach about science, art, humanities, social, technology, etc. All they are "western" knowledge. However, in few countries teaching about other kinds of knowledge -indigenous, or traditional, or peasant, or popular- is an integral part of curricula -not just anecdotal or as an example.
