I am researching the elements of building construction for bushfire that are favourable to energy efficiency and sustainability in broader terms. For instance, what type of window construction aids both bushfire resilience, energy efficiency and long term sustainability? I am keen to explore what is considered in the scope of bushfire eco-resilience.
I do believe the consequence of bush fire will bring in a eco-resilience. Although this natural process does not know the function per se, the implications of the bush fire will allow new natural vegetation to arise post-bush fire. Again, it all depends are the load of dormant seeds and rhizomes underground. Also, the bush fire contain several compounds that have the capacity to release the seeds from dormancy. So that the natural process continues and eco-system balance maintained.
