you can investigate your question in two ways, depending on your objectives.

The first is to review literature, and in that case you can start with Google Scholar with appropriate key words, like this

Quality of workplace life ( QWL ) depends on various factors like: Working condition, Work culture, Individual working habits, Skill, Motivation, Peer Relation, EQ etc. QWL is a function of organizational adaptive skill and absorptive capacity. Further, Absorptive Capacity is the function of organizational  Knowledge management system and organizational culture. Therefore,  QWL is likely to impact organizational adaptive skill and absorptive capacity.  Conducive organizational culture will create proper work culture for transformation to learning organization.

Hi Muhammad,

I first remark that you change the original definition of acap from Cohen & Levinthal (1990). My point of view is you are about speaking more of a learning capacity than an absorptive capacity. Cohen & Levinthal specified commercial ends and considered in their 1989 paper,  innovation sales from the corresponding part of R&D. So, I think acap should also include a delivery of an innovation to markets, adopted by users.  

They also mentioned in their definition of 1990, the term information instead knowledge and went up to weak signal in their paper of 1994 (report written in 1989b). Acap in very much than a learning capability. 

I suggest first you clarify what means terms acquisition and assimilation, How a practician can manage acquisition ans mostly asimilation, otherwise you will get difficulties to identify any observables variables. Acquisition and assimilation are too broad terms. You should define the exact meaning of both, the difference between each and consider if you can have acquisition without assimilation? Knowledge is not an object, you cannot "buy" it , store it somewhere and make assimilation later. Or may be?

So, before looking for dimensions of  QWL, get a ggod definition on what you are working on (acquisition and assimilation). This will influence the way you will look for dimensions of QWL. Limit the number of constructs of QWL you want to associate to acap. You cannot measure all in the same survey. You will lost what you are measuring or try to corralate if you have too many constructs. 

It is recognized by many scolars and journals that the conceptualization is less considered before any measure and statistical abalysis. Take the time to conceptualized well before, you will get it easier after and also get better results.

thanks for your healthy input. I think information has no meanings in new competitive environment but the knowledge and solid knowledge which is diverse.

Regrading definition of ACAP I have gone for general definition otherwise this construct has taken different shapes in extant literature.

Recently, two of my publications on static and Dynamic absorptive capacity in ambidextrous environment are  under review with reputed journals.

another one is       Absorptive Capacity : A business mate or fight. is also about to be published.

We have taken absorptive capacity as construct  at macro level  but in literature we seldom find any study highlighting micro levels and specifically  willingness of  employees to under go this process.

My main research is about micro levels of organization and related to employees not at strategic level approach. therefore, i have taken into account QWL in my study to see what "employees want and what is being provided to them in this hectic process of absorptive capacity". I want to raise voice of employees.

Any how, nice to listen from you being directly related to my field.

I can share my work  with you for joint venture in publications in future if you agree.

I think your definition of ACAP is just fine.

As I'm sure you know, ACAP is based in the prior related knowledge possessed by the student. However, it is also a dyadic concept which means that ACAP various based on the similarity of student and the teacher. So you have to examine how the various aspects of the student and teacher match up to determine how well the student is able to learn. So in terms of QoWL, you need to see how the QoWL initiative makes the characteristics of the line people match up with the source of information. 

The channels used to transmit knowledge are also important. Based on the type of channels ACAP might be greater or lesser. The basic attitudes toward new knowledge are also important.

You will need to do a qualitative assessment of the characteristics in the light of what knowledge is being transferred in what way.
