I studied the effect of laser power on corrosion properties of micro-alloyed HSLA (API X70) steel.
The laser powers used for laser surface melting (LSM) are 2, 2.5, 2.75, 3, 3.5, and 4 kW.
When considering 2 and 2.5 kW, 2.5 kW shows better corrosion resistance.
But after 2.5 kW, when increasing laser power (2.75, 3, 3.5, 4 kW) corrosion resistance is decreasing.
Thanks in Advance.
