The major challenge biotechnology researchers face today is to reorient themselves to the changing phase of biological research. The future biotechnological research will be data driven. In the past major part of the researcher's time was spent on generating data, now it is no more on generation of data (which can be done in short time using high throughput methods) but on analysis of data. So, learning to deal with large scale biological data analysis is one of the major challenges biotechnology researchers face today.
The major challenges generally encountered in my country are poor research funding, lack of adequate facilities/equipment and unemployment for graduates.
Many challenges might face researchers in the field of Biotechnology.All of these challenges differe among many contries.One of them is the high cost of chemicals and equipments,hence you need a project to work in its framework.Also any one who is going to work in Biotechnology needs guide and qualified supervisor to learn and show him the techniques.Three items must be available,the Lab, the supervisor as well as technician,the funds.Those three are important and when are available ,I think you will success if you are umbicious and a work chance is important.
