We did similar work of coating pdms on different substrates for making thin films. We coated substrates (also glass) with a thin layer of readily available hair oils before coating with pdms. Once the pdms gets cured, it comes off very easily. If you have any application of the pdms thin films in the bio-sciences, you can try to use any other water soluble coatings on the glass before spin coating the pdms. The hair oils do not mix with the pdms, it stays on its surface. It easily comes of when cleaned with ethanol. Upon plasma treatment of such pdms, the surface of the pdms showed hydrophilic properties similar to that of the pdms films made without using any oils.

I do not know how you have encountered such problem for pdms films having thickness of 0.5mm. We created films in the thickness range of 0.03mm-0.1mm without using any oils. We never faced such problems.

in order to avoid PDMS adhesion we coat glass or silicon substrate with a fluorinate chlorosilane layer:

you ca try trichloro(1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyl)silane vapor phase deposition.

Just like Paola said. You just need to precoat the silane on the glass or other substrate. After spinning you can remove it easily

I have spread PDMS over an A4-sized area using a precision straight edge and shims. This achieved uniform thicknesses down to 25 microns. Coated surface was precision polished Aluminium and a thin teflon film (similar in appearance and thickness to household clingfilm) was stretched over surface to allow peel-off after cure. PDMS also comes away from teflon easily after cure.
