Big data in chemistry is huge. There's so much data on so many properties (chemical & physical) on a vast number of molecules. I'm trying to understand the level of breadth (and depth of course) your research is planning to cover. I will appreciate your response.
In my project we have a challenge to achieve a possibility to work with 100 M compounds. For now we have a success just for 41 M compounds. You are right, there are lots of data, especially from Virtual libraries. The aim of this project is to find or to develop some approaches/tools able to work both with "real" and "virtual" data sets.
Analytics can give insight to your raw data.Now analytics will depend on what actually u want to find from this data.Is it trend,clustering,pattern etc.?
In my research I would like predict drivers behavior from their trajectories. My interest concerns traffic data to predict congestions on transportation network, ...
