There are various and obvious ways like bluetooth and wifi sharing and bump technology, but I would like to know about the other interesting ones.
All of the aforementioned technologies will do the job. However, you must consider the following points before selecting any technology
1. Required Transmission Range
2. Required Bandwidth
3. Energy Consumption
4. Availability (bump technology is still new)
If I talk in terms of high transmission rate and for that I shall sacrifice other things that you mentioned then which technology should I use?
Perhaps, consider UWB. UWB operates in the 3.1 to 10.6 GHz frequency bands and communicates over short distances at high speeds and with very low power consumption. it is suited for streaming multimedia.
Wi-Fi offers highest data transfer rate, followed by Bluetooth, and NFC (bumb tech), respectively. You must also consider connection setup time. For instance, NFC connections set up more quickly compared to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
