Silica (SiO2) has different absorption bands (stretching, bending, symmetric and asymmetric vibrations) in FT-IR spectrum, what are the values of wavenumber (cm^-1) for these absorption bands?
Hello S.s. Metwally , There is also an absorption peak at 696 cm-1 often used for quantitative determination because of non interference with other absorption bands.
You mentioned the absorption bands of different types of silica in details, kindly, illustrate if there is a rule from which we can indicate that the pending vibration appears in lower wavenumber than the stretching one or not.
