I'm interested in studying user satisfaction on built environment, and its related managerial implications...Need to find what are the validated questionnaires...
For workplace research, there are several validated post-occupancy questionnaires which measure user satisfaction in the built environment. For example, some of the most widely-used questionnaires are:
The Leesman Index
The UC Berkeley Centre for the Built Environment (CBE) Occupant Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Survey
The Building Occupants Survey System Australia (BOSSA)
If you look through some of the questions for these you will be able to determine whether any of these are suitable for your research, or whether it would be better to construct your own questionnaire. However, please note that these are all commercial surveys which cost money to implement, so if you plan on using them in research you will need to obtain permission first.
Please have a look at our website, where we have highlighted a number of validated tools to assess the built environment: https://www.upstreamteam.nl/resources/.
Hi, please kindly find the following papers which i think are quite relevant to what you have requested. They are not just on the satisfaction of building dwellers on the design layout, workmanship, architectural features, but also the satisfaction on neighbourhood and community in the surrounding areas.
