I am conducting a study on the soil properties of forests in the Northwest Himalayas, specifically focusing on broadleaf forests like Quercus semecarpifolia and conifer forests such as Cedrus deodara, Abies pindrow and Picea smithiana. I am interested in understanding and want to read literature of these properties in the IHR. I want to know what is normal behaviour of soil properties in these forest types and also enthusiastic about the average range of organic carbon percentage (%) and the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK) in these forest types. Could anyone provide insights of concern studies literature in the North western Himalaya or references to studies that report these values for similar forest ecosystems?
