If we have a partially recrystallized and similarly a partially recovered microstructure after suitable annealing treatments, then is there is way of choosing some suitable EBSD parameters which can be used to accurately determine the recovery as well as recrystallization kinetics?
Maybe in the deformed condition you are able to observe some texture in your material. However, occurrence of recrystallization can result in random texture. In the case of recovery you can study the density of low angle and high angle grain boundaries.
You can plot the misorientation distribution to investigate the proportion of Low/High Angle Grain Boundaries.
Otherwise, one may consider the intragranular misorientation, using for instance the kernel Average Misorientation (be careful with the indexing step) or the misorientation angle per unit length.
