This would be a highly important research subject.
There are studies showing pharmaceatical residues in the effluents after activated sludge wastewater treatment, but I have not seen similar researches for constructed wetlands. Given that (1) the retention time is longer in a CW than in a WWTP, and that (2) the reactions are far more complex in a rhizosphere than in an activated sludge, it is legitimate to suppose that the CW eliminates pharmaceuticals more effectively.
