The issue of reliability of the implementation of credit procedures, liberalization of the credit policy, effectiveness of the credit risk management process and the quality of the loan portfolio.

The above discussion inspired me to formulate the following question:

Can the issue of reliability in the implementation of credit procedures, liberalization of the credit policy and effectiveness of the credit risk management process affect the quality of the loan portfolio?

On the basis of the above considerations and conclusions from the discussion on interesting issues discussed, I formulated the following thesis that the issue of reliability of credit procedures implementation, liberalization of credit policy, effectiveness of the credit risk management process in a microeconomic perspective significantly affects the quality of the loan portfolio, economic efficiency and results financial bank. On the other hand, in the macroeconomic perspective, the issue of reliability in the implementation of credit procedures, liberalization of credit policy, effectiveness of the credit risk management process, business ethics and corporate social responsibility in shaping information asymmetry and the bank's relations with clients can be a significant source of the financial crisis in the commercially functioning state financial system and as a consequence also the economic crisis, which it can cover or affect the majority of economic entities operating in the national and global economy.

Below I have described the key determinants confirming the formulated research thesis. To the above discussion I would like to add the following conclusion formulated as a summary of my previous considerations on this topic: The issue of reliability in the implementation of credit procedures.

Yes, creditworthiness assessment is moral if it is conducted fairly, ethically and fully in accordance with the procedures of an effectively conducted credit risk management process. If the assessment of creditworthiness is carried out unreliably, i.e. treated as an instrument of extremely liberalized credit policy, it may be a factor leading to a significant deterioration in the quality of the loan portfolio in banks. If it is deliberately planned action as part of an extremely liberalized credit policy subordinated primarily to an increase in credit sales with a deliberate disregard for risk management procedures. In such a situation, such unreliable assessments of creditworthiness can even be described as unethical activity, which can be a significant factor leading to a significant deterioration of the financial situation of a bank. These types of situations of extremely unreliable assessment of creditworthiness on a massive scale occurred in many credit and deposit and investment banks before the global financial crisis of 2008.

- Were the correct conclusions drawn from institutions supervising the financial system from the sources of the global financial crisis identified in investment banking and described in scientific papers in 2008, and therefore whether the banking procedures regarding the credit risk management process and customer service have been realistically improved? ?

- If not, what should be improved in terms of credit risk management processes and customer service to significantly eliminate potential sources of another financial crisis?
