We are currently doing a research on its allelopathic properties but as far as I have looked, there seems to be quite only a few studies published about B. papyrifera's allelochemicals.

Literature is flooded with various phytochemicals studies of given plants. Some of the link I found out attached here.
Mostly secondary metabolites are waste product for plant may act as toxin for other species.
