I am currently working on a FENTON-FBR reactor(SiO2 carrier, with homogenous Fe treating reverse osmosis concentrate ROC) and i am facing some dilemmas. I would like to know what affects the sludge production volume and the performance of treatment.

question on performance:

1) apart from concentration of reagents used (peroxide and fe), what other factors contribute to performance? does fluidisation rate affect the performance of the reaction?

2) Does dosing timing matters for performance?

3) compared to classic fenton, does FBR fenton produces better water quality?

question on sludge production:

1) does fluidisation rate affects the sludge production? due to the affecting of the crystallization of fe onto the carrier?

2) what are the main contributors to sludge production? (ie biomass could form flocs and hence more sludge) is there any particular substance in ROC to take note of?

please assist me with this thank you.
