Obstacles to transforming sports clubs into joint stock companies:

1- The new law does not provide details on how to transfer the branches of the sports club to joint stock companies.

2- Not allowing non-Egyptian investors to be members of the board of directors or owning clubs and affiliated companies.

3 - Non-eligibility of members of clubs affiliated to companies to attend the General Assembly or run for the Board of Directors and consider them (visiting member).

4- Lack of standards related to the assets rights of football companies owned by the club by 51%, and 49% to shareholders.

5 - stakes large public clubs on the support of the Ministry of Youth, which is contrary to the idea of ​​being on the stock exchange.

6 - lack of sports clubs many of the sources of income that depend on global clubs such as (stadium revenues - selling clothes - restaurants - museums - new sponsorship contracts ..).

7 - The law does not include a mechanism for sports financing to reduce government spending on sports clubs.

8- Lack of qualified management to understand the needs of the new investor in the sports field.

9- Lack of investment map showing the type and location of sports clubs suitable for investment and transfer to shareholding companies.

10 - the possibility of turning sports clubs into companies seeking to profit exclusively and eliminate family sports to maximize profit only.
