Dear fellow researchers
I'm about to start risk stratification for Out-of-hours service (telephone triage) and I'm inspired by Early Warning Scores for predicting detoriation in in-hospital patients. However, since I'm investigating people that call a telephone hotline I need other variables than blood pressure, pulse, saturation.
So if you have good ideas please share
Right now I'm thinking: degree of worry, unclear symptoms, lack of social support

Good idea.
Maybe, you can add other variables as difficulties in access to health, repeat symptoms, anxiety, assessment of disease severity.

Indeed, it is a necessity to add non classic clinical symptoms.
The psychological or psychiatric variables could be very helpful to determine the independant risk.
Maybe you could find things in psycho litterature?
I agree that socio epidemiologic variables are important as the psycho side.

Thanks for your reply, I'm already deeply engaged in the psycho/socio literature, but I need to find variables that are operaple . eg. can be answered in a short telephone consultation. For the time being I'm a bit uncertain where to find the combined literature and advisor. It sems like I'm engaging in three different diciplines (bio-psych-soc) and trying to combine these...
