Using waste rubber or agglomerated fly ash as aggregate. However, its still very hard to achieve density as low as 500kg/m3
Since thermal conductivity of building materials is generally proportional to density, it will not be easy to increase thermal conductivity while decreasing density. This may require two additions to the concrete - one highly conductive thermally and the other lightweight (and insulative).
You could use extruded polystyrene foam pellets as sand replacement
Foam concrete and autoclaved aerated concrete can be reach less density values in concrete technology. Thus, special foam products can mixed with cementitious paste to achieve the ultra light-weight materials. Or, such light-weight products can be prepared by the use of autocalve technique as known in autoclaved aerated concrete.
Aluminium based waste materials can be used to obtain foam concrete or aerated concrete which are lighter in their mass.
But achieving thermal conductivity with lighter density may be of difficulty since the lighter material should also have insulating capacity. Other additives can be experimented.
