When we have the opportunity to express our scientific findings in front of our colleagues we have the opportunity to talk with similar people, but; What happens when we have to speak in front of people who are not necessarily in our areas of study? Various groups of scientists form different communities. Such speech communities possess shared knowledge and discipline specific norms and values that are recognized and understood by all members. However, explaining scientific findings to individuals who do not belong to the group of professionals always poses unpredictable problems. In such situations, the scientists need to simplify technicalities in order to enhance rapport and mutual understanding.
