There are important matters that the professor must adhere to at the university when discussing masters theses or doctoral dissertations, including asking important questions related to the subject of study and emphasizing the most important sources on which the student relied with his commitment to the scientific trust.
I find it necessary for the professor at the university to pay attention to reading the master’s thesis or doctoral thesis and pointing out the most important mistakes that the student made and encouraging him to correct them and writing in a scientific and methodical manner, while ensuring scientific integrity when using resources

I think what’s important for opponents and other critical discussants are issues as

- follow up of the research question - what appears as the researcher’s answer and is that motivated out of the researchresults?
- Orientation in the research field chosen - has someting been missed which is relevant?
- Data collection and analysis
- Ability to both follow a method and be aware of and critical to it. The same when it comes to theory.
- Networking and collaboration with other researchers in the field world wide
- Ability to explain applicability of the research
Listening. Telling the candidate why to avoid certain things or suggesting how they may discover this. Particularly at the doctoral level not telling them what to do.
