Can the Corona pandemic be considered a recovery period given to a land exhausted by pollution, and an opportunity for reflection given to humans to inform their thinking and review their convictions?
The most important consequences of the development of the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic (causing Covid-19 disease) in human and ecological aspects include:
- Increase of empathy, mutual social assistance, increase of social solidarity,
- Decrease in environmental pollution caused by temporary reduction of production processes in some companies and enterprises, as well as a decrease in consumption of certain types of products and services,
- Increase in pro-ecological social awareness regarding the importance of the role of man in nature, the need to protect the biodiversity of natural ecosystems and maintain balance in nature as important factors limiting the possibility of future epidemics and pandemics in the future.
Positive for ecology & Environment and worse for humans. It is a lesson for human being to be in harmony with nature else the nature knows how to balance itself.
Good answers so far.. to add one more point that the wealth of the world top billionaires has significantly increased since the beginning the corona situation while many middle class or low income people have lost their jobs. The gap between the poor and the rich is larger than before the crisis.
Nature has laws of self-regulation of species that we as human beings do not understand well. Are human excesses punished in transforming the balance of nature? Maybe...

To answer this question, we need to remind you what a virus is and what its purpose in nature is. Viruses are the highest values of inanimate nature that are created by the planet itself. They are complete fragments of programs for converting planetary matter. When it is necessary to correct the processes of transformation of planetary matter or start a new stage of transformation, the planet forms the corresponding viruses (fragments of programs). These viruses correct at once the entire planetary functional ensemble of biological objects-fungi, plants, animals, and people. As a result, fragments of programs begin to "sound" together, like a musical Symphony composed of many musical chords.
The virus enters cells, its fragments are embedded in the genome of biological objects (in non-coding or coding parts of DNA molecules). As a result, there is a partial change in the characteristics of cellular proteins. At the organizational level-this leads to a change in the total electromagnetic field of the body. And this change contributes to the adjustment of the parameters of the Central nervous system (consciousness and thinking).
Simply put, the planet has a short conversation with people. The planet does not persuade people to rethink their activities. The planet changes the parameters of the reinterpretation mechanism. From this logic, the assessment of the pandemic follows – if this virus is not effective enough to correct the mechanism of consciousness and thinking of modern people, then we should expect a more effective virus, which will be characterized by an even weaker mutation that weakens its infectivity.
Thank you for answering my question, your answer was detailed and clear, although my specialty is environmental law, but I was able to understand all the particles included in your answer.
Viruses tend to be virulent when they jump host as their snippits of executive programs are not adapted to the new host and vice versa. As time goes by and mutations happen the virulence is attenuated, parts get even included into our gene pool as we can see from analysing our genetic make up. We learn to live with one another.
In the event, we want to use the drastic measures of social distancing and more taken by many governments to avoid public health systems from being overwhelmed in the early phase to reflect on some of our earlier economic, social and environmental strategies.
Our relentless destruction of natural habitats, such as massive deforestation on an unprecedented scale for industrial agriculture shrinks the habitats of countless wildlife species and propels them towards extinction (e.g. collapse of insect population, critical danger, even extinction of many vertebrates etc.). It also multiplies the contact of humans with wildlife and thus host jumping of diseases. The lockdown and stop or slowing of some of these practices has already had some beneficial effects e.g. on the partial recovery of overfished resources, particularly shot-lived ones. It could be a great opportunity to do more of that with social programmes for those vulnerable groups particularly affected, such as temporary migrant workers in India and many other disadvantaged people in all countries.
Overall, coming out of the covid-19 pandemic could be an opportunity to change course to more sustainable ways of living within the boundaries of the planet, give back more to nature, squander less, and live better ourselves - which also implies more social justice.
Will we read the writing on the wall and use our ingenuity for a change in strategy?
The covid-19 pandemic has opened everybody eyes on the need for all nations to work together as a team. Also for each nation to look inward in developing and making use of their local resources through vigorous researches. It has also re-directed each nation economy directions through diversification to avoid recessions and unnecessary dependency.
