Neutralisers for essential oils have been poorly characterised. One neutraliser that has been validated for an essential oil is based on the European standard. It contains a few active ingredients including Tween 80 and lecithin. Its easy to test if this neutraliser would be effective for your essential oil. The neutraliser and the method are described in the attachment (Messager et al., 2005, J Hosp Infect).
