First of all the purity of SNPs depend on the method of synthesis..Please specify what you are meaning by the term 'purity, of SNPs..If you take a SEM and EDS you will get a clear picture about the SNP system you have prepared..I think both these methods are essential than TGA regarding the stability and composition of nanoparticle you have prepared..EDS will give good idea about the composition and the purity of the sample..All the best

The purity depends on the method of synthesis..I recommend u to take a SEM and EDS to get a clear picture of your sample..TGA cannot correlate the purity of sample effectively...TEM, SEM and EDS give a complete picture..all the best

You can use EDS for elemental analysis of silver nanoparticle. as you mentioned you are using green synthesis method, this will allow to help whether nanoparticles are of purely silver or any contamination is there. Absorption spectra at 3keV, silver give strong single peak if there is no contaimination
