What are the major causes of flood & waterlogging in the coastal plan and how much does climate changes multiply vulnerability?

Flood and waterlogging has increased in many fold in most parts of the world. Currently, studies blame climate change as the main reason for this. Please give your opinion and feedback.

Not only climate change, change in the pattern of the Land use and Land cover is also adding to bringing down the infiltration capacity of the soils. This is major problem in urban area. Also increase in the activities in the CRZ is also responsible for the flooding in the Coastal area
