Try to re-obtain crystal by slow diffusion process

I would also suggest to try crystallization by slow diffusion techniques. I.e. you could prepare a solution of your compound in chloroform and place a vial with this solution in a larger glas container with a low-boiling solvent such as diethyl ether or pentane. Slow diffusion of the latter into the vial will most likely produce good crystals. In our hands, acetonitrile often proved to be an excellent solvent for growing more compact crystals. Cooling of a solution of your compound in hot acetonitrile to room temperature might also be worth a try.
