Your questions can have many perspectives. I will say (may be i am wrong but) the university must establish a good orientation in the entrepreneurs. Whether it be a market orientation or entrepreneurial orientation. If you take entrepreneurial orientation, it already has three dimensions, Innovation, Risk Taking Propensity and Pro-activeness. All these also have a relation with market orientation. Therefore, I will say the characteristics of a good entrepreneurial university should reside in building up the mindset for their students for becoming a good entrepreneur. Institutional environment is very important where you can nurture the student for the commercialization of the research and create either a new market, disrupt the existing market or coexist in the existing market.
